Water-loving antelopes
Botswana red lechwes (Kobus leche) grazing in the wet plains of the Okavango Delta. Red lechwes have long, splayed hooves which help them gain traction and move quickly through marshy areas. What makes this compostion interesting is the painterly watercolor effect resulting from the tall grasses illuminated by soft afternoon light and the fulcrum composition obtained with the 2 calves on the side and the male lechwe in the center.
