Blending Stalker

Striated Heron (Butorides Striata) stalking fish whilst perched on a stump in Vohitra river which flows past the Andaside Hotel located near Zahamena and Andasibe National_Parks in Madagascar. The heron crouched still on this post for a good 30 miniutes in the same position and seemed to blend effortlessly in its environment disregarding the swarming of insects and the toing and froing of swallows and kingfishers.
