Color change for the night

Green horned ghost crab (Ocypode ceratophthalma) foraging on the surf zone of a beach at sunset on Benguerra island in Mozambique. Ghost crabs exhibit anti-predator coloration for camouflage, such that they become lighter during the day and darker at night. Ghost crabs can move on the sand at about 16 km/h and are able to change direction suddenly.
