Ring-tailed lemur (lemur catta) looking intently at troop members moving to a new foraging spot. Ring-tailed lemurs travel up to 200 m at a time, up to 500-600 m a day. The ring-tailed lemur is an opportunistic omnivore primarily eating fruits and leaves. Favorite food is Tamarind pods known natively as kily. When available, tamarind makes up as much as 50% of the diet, especially during the dry, winter season. Image captured in Isalo National Park, Madagascar.
