Wild white hibiscus (Hibiscus flavifolius) in the early morning blooming stage where the pistil has not yet deployed and only the bright orange colored anthers laden with glistening pollen are visible. The outer edges of the petals display a coarse texture that resembles ice crystals. Captured near the Lemala Nanyukie lodge on a walking safari close to the tributary of the Ngare Nanyuki river, in Eastern Serengeti, Tanzania.
