Red-cheeked Cordonbleu in dappled light

Male Red-cheeked Cordonbleu (Uraeginthus bengalus), also known as Red-cheeked Blue Waxbill or Abyssinian Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu, perched on rock in dappled light. Males have a distinctive red to magenta mark on the cheek. Captured in Central Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
