Balancing act in low flight
Gray-backed Fiscal (Lanius excubitoroides), a shrike of the family Laniidae, flies low above bushes and brush (2 to 4m) while foraging for insects. Flashes its wings in a balancing act to keep steady above brush weeds while looking for insects which it manages to catch in flight sometimes. Captured in Central Serengeti National Park, Tanzania.
