Female Village Weaver
(Ploceus cucullatus) flying back to the nest with blades of grass seeds in its bill to be used as soft lining. Female Village Weavers are very demanding on the build quality of the nest and will only parrticipate in the finishing touches of the construction by carrying soft lining material whereas the male will carry long blades of grass of varying textures and lengths for the actual nest construction.
