White eye stare of superb starling
Superb Starling (Lamprotornis superbus) perched on a twig with its back facing the viewer and its distinctive creamy-whitish left eye establishing contact with the photographer. The bird posture gives prominence to the iridescent, metallic blue-green upperparts while a tuft of orange belly coverts are made visible on the edge of the right wing under the light breeze. Captured in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania.
