Infant and mother lemur gazing at troop members
Infant and mother lemur gazing at their troop members who moved to another foraging spot. Ring-tailed lemurs live in large social groups of about 20 individuals that contain approximately equal numbers of males and females. The groups travel almost a kilometer a day and occupy a home range averaging between 10 and 32 hectares, depending on the richness of habitats. Image captured in Isalo National Park, Madagascar.
