Roaring out of slumber
As we were driving away from a spot where we watched a pride of lions, we stumbled upon this male lion isolated from the group. The lion's head popped out of the grass and he let out a deep roar, either to communicate with the rest of the pride or to establish domain in the event of potential challengers.
